Sancho’s Dress

Our scarves are handwoven and hand spun in rural Ethiopia, providing sustainable employment and harnessing Eco-friendly looms to make modern and versatile scarves.

Each scarf is hand crafted, made from the layering of various thickness of hand-spun cotton on a wooden loom. The wooden looms are completely pedal powered and have minimal environmental impact.

They each have a large body of natural un-dyed cotton, speckled with cotton bud. Finished off with a bright coloured lining, bold enough to become the feature of any outfit, and subtle enough to hide away in folds or under jackets.

Sancho's Dress began with a goal to work with artisans and craftspeople in Ethiopia and provide them with links to the international market; in order to provide stable and sustainable employment opportunities.

We can also produce designs to order so contact us if you have anything specific in mind.
