Fashion Revolution – Who made your clothes?
On April the 24th last year, 1,133 people were killed when the Rana Plaza factory complex collapsed in Bangladesh.
Today, people are still suffering as a direct result of our fashion supply chain. Fashion Revolution Day says enough is enough!
We believe in a fashion industry that values people, the environment, creativity and profit in equal measure. Fashion Revolution Day will create connections throughout the supply chain, connecting the cotton farmer, the mill dyer and the seamstress with the end consumer.
To put our plan for a better fashion world into action, this year we’re asking one simple question: Who Made Your Clothes?
We’re asking everyone to help by wearing an item of clothing inside out, photographing yourself, sharing it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and your blog with the hashtag #insideout @fash_rev.
