EcoOutfitters is a new and dynamic ethical and sustainable school clothing company set up by two mothers, passionate about improving the quality of the school uniforms that our children spend so much time wearing.
Our kids wear their school uniforms for at least 35 hours a week. Naturally, it is the most important items of clothing in their wardrobe. So we thought to ourselves, wouldn’t it be great to have uniforms made from pure organic cotton, that has no nasties in it, and feels soft and lovely.
Organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizes and harmful pesticides, keeping the soil fertile, water clean, and air pure for generations to come. Organic Cotton Farmers and their families don’t have to handle any toxins, and, they receive a premium price for their cotton, which can help elevating entire community out of poverty.
Every stage in making our organic uniforms, such as spinning, knitting, dyeing, and sewing is done with love, and without the use of any toxic substances that can affect our children’s development and wreak havoc to our already fragile eco system. To ensure that, our entire supply chain form seed to the final product is certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) against their strict environmental and social criteria.
